What a confirmation statement is
A confirmation statement is the yearly Companies House filing that confirms a UK company’s public record. The form is CS01. It covers officers, people with significant control, SIC codes, share capital, and the registered office details already on the register. It replaced the annual return on 30 June 2016. It is not the company’s accounts.
Every limited company needs one at least once a year, including dormant companies. The statement is due within 14 days after the review period ends. Miss it and Companies House can chase the company and, in time, move towards striking it off. There is no automatic late penalty of the kind that applies to accounts.
Read the confirmation statement service, or check when yours is due. Companies House describes the filing on GOV.UK (opens in a new tab).
How an order works
You are not buying a login. You are asking us to prepare a confirmation statement and submit it to Companies House.
1
Send your details
Complete the order form with the company number, the company authentication code, and each director’s name, date of birth, and personal code.
2
Pay £59.99
You pay £59.99 before we file. £9.99 is the service fee and £50 is the Companies House fee.
3
We file it
After payment, we file the confirmation statement electronically with Companies House. If anything is missing or the filing is rejected, we email you.
What the £59.99 covers
Confirmation statement
We check the details you send, prepare the confirmation statement, and file it with Companies House. The £50 Companies House fee is included in the £59.99 total and shown on its own line.
£9.99 service fee + £50 Companies House fee = £59.99 total
The total is our service fee plus the Companies House fee. Both are shown before you order. We confirm the amount with you before taking payment.
The full split is on the pricing page. If Companies House changes its own tariff, we confirm the total before you pay.
A service, not a portal
Built for UK directors who want the confirmation statement dealt with. Nothing on this site is legal or tax advice, and this service is not part of Companies House.
The price is the whole price
No add-ons on this site. If a filing needs a different form, we say so before doing extra work.
You pay before we file
You pay the £59.99 before we file. Nothing is filed before that payment. If something needs a fix, we email you.
The filing codes stay with the order
We need the company authentication code and each director’s personal code to file. We use them only for that filing.
Confirmation statement questions
All questionsWhat is a confirmation statement?
A confirmation statement is the yearly filing a UK company sends to Companies House. It confirms that the public record is still correct, and it can update certain information such as SIC codes and shareholder details.
It replaced the annual return in June 2016. It is not the company’s accounts. We prepare the statement and file it with Companies House. The confirmation statement service explains what is included.
What is a CS01?
CS01 is the Companies House form number for a confirmation statement. Filing a CS01 and filing a confirmation statement are the same thing.
We prepare that form from the details you send and file it with Companies House.
When is a confirmation statement due?
It is due within 14 days of the end of the company’s review period. The review period is usually 12 months, starting at incorporation or the day after the last confirmation statement.
It can be filed during the review period. There is no need to wait for the last day. The deadline guide explains how to find the date on the public record.
How much does a confirmation statement cost?
The total is £59.99. That is a £9.99 service fee for preparing and filing, plus a £50 Companies House fee. Both lines are shown before you order. There is no extra charge on this site.
The split is on the pricing page.
Your Confirmation Statement filled for you
Yes. Send the company details and pay £59.99 on the order page. We file the confirmation statement with Companies House. If anything is missing or needs a fix, we email you.
That total is a £9.99 service fee plus the £50 Companies House fee. The steps are on how it works, and you can start from the order form.
Is a confirmation statement the same as company accounts?
No. Accounts report the company’s finances and have their own filing deadline and late-filing penalties. A confirmation statement checks the company record: officers, people with significant control, SIC codes, statement of capital, and the registered office details already on file.
We do not file accounts. If accounts are also due, your accountant or you still need to file them separately.
Ready for the confirmation statement to be someone else’s job?
Order it for £59.99. That total is the £9.99 service fee plus the £50 Companies House fee.
